Hi! Today I'll talk about survey services.

They can be useful in teaching. With the help of these recourses a teacher can control students' knowledge, collect opinions, create some polls, etc.

I have researched some survey services and want to share my opinion.

Google Forms

With Google Forms, you can not only quickly conduct a survey, but also build a guest list, collect email addresses for a newsletter, and even run a quiz.

You can use the templates or create a theme yourself - just upload a photo or logo, and Forms will automatically select the appropriate color scheme.

You can find the statistics of responses, including in the form of a chart, right in the form, and the responses of respondents - in the automatically generated Google spreadsheet.

Anketolog

The service focuses primarily on online surveys, but also allows you to create tests. The constructor is simple and straightforward to use.

The service allows you to customize the test design, you can also create different completion pages depending on the test results.

Online Test Pad

Allows you to create both simple tests and polls, crosswords, "dialogues" - tests designed in the form of communication with a virtual examiner. There is also a distance learning and testing system inside the service, where you can create groups of students, give them lessons and assignments, keep a journal academic performance.

ClassMarker

There are 7 types of questions in the constructor, there is a special bank where all created questions are saved for reuse in other tests. You can create your own categories to classify questionnaires. You can also share the test with your colleagues and work on it together.

You can also control access to the test by creating individual registration codes or passwords for users. Results statistics are displayed in your personal account, you can see the answers both for the test as a whole, and separately for each participant, but you cannot upload them.

Testix

Its main feature is working with ready-made templates.
There are 7 types of them: quizzes, personality tests, memory games, panoramas for Facebook (you can upload photos and add comments to them), photo stories, timelines, Zoom maps. All templates are very beautiful, you can also change their design - add a company logo and corporate colors.

Some other flexible platforms, which may be very useful during lessons

Quizlet

Quizlet is a free service that makes it easy to memorize any information that can be presented as learning cards. All that is required is to find in the database or create interactive material - your own cards, adding pictures and audio files to them, and then performing exercises and playing games to remember this material.

Seven different learning modes give students the opportunity to choose the one that best suits their learning. Quizlet tracks student progress and provides instant feedback on what they should be doing.

Socrative

a Socrative app  allows teachers to design quizzes for their students on their own, or select some of the standard quizzes to teach their class. You can answer the quiz questions under your own name or anonymously, depending on what mode of use the teacher has provided.
The answers of the participants of the quiz help teachers analyze how successfully the material has been learned and evaluate the volume of their knowledge in order to transform and improve the curriculum. Teachers can draw conclusions about the presence of successful and lagging students, about the performance of the class as a whole, and track the change in these indicators over time.
