Hi! Today I'm talking about Google tools which may be helpful in learning English.

Google is famous for its services and tools for comfortable office work. Nowadays they have made those tools more adaptated for educational departments. And all of these tools make learning and teaching more interesting, fun and easy. I'll try to show, how those tools may be applied to educational process.

Google Docs and Google Sheets

Allows you to track any changes made to the document in real time, leave notes, corrections, use the built-in chat. Ideal tool for group work. It is perfect for distance learning, which is quite topical nowadays. For example, a group can use it for a lesson, dedicated to learning of some grammar structures. Students may do the excersises in this tool simultaneously, and immediatelly correct the mistekes woth teather's help.

Google Forms

Ideal for creating questionnaires and quizzes. Ideal for homework and independent work in the classroom. Very convenient to create a final test for the topic, and get all of the statistics of students.

Google Sites

It is a collection of website templates that you can use to create your own web page. This is a great alternative to the usual preparation of an abstract or essay. Projects created on the basis of Google Sites have a platform for comments and statistics services, which means that each student will receive feedback from teachers and classmates.

Google Slides 

It is a web-based version of Power Point with the same set of basic presentation tools. It allows you to quickly start co-creating a presentation, so it is very good for pair and group work. Certainly the development of working in a team skill with the use of technology.

Google Drawing

A service for creating diagrams and schemes. Certainly useful in some projects.

Google Books

Helps you find books by title, author, or topic. Then the desired book can either be downloaded, if copyright permits, or read online. Perfect for the search of English literature, which certainly helps your studies.

Google Academy

Helps you search for scientific articles and other publications. Advanced search will help to select only the necessary materials on your topic. Useful when you are preparing a scientific article of paper.
